Post-Run First Blog

So I've decided to create a blogger. The reason being, I don't like to taint my MySpace blogs with useless vanities. I'm very conscientious about focusing my MySpace blogging to only the highest quality of wit and concise thought.

This blog will not be held to the same standards. This blog's purpose will mainly be to vent, recount my last hours, and maybe ramble. I'm sure there will undoubtedly by wit, and sometimes...concise thought. But mostly I just want to remember where my days are going! Because sometimes, I look at yesterday and I wonder, "What'd I do today!?"

No longer.

I had to get up at 8AM this morning to go running. 5 miles. My final for Jogging for Fitness. In f-ing 43 degree weather. I was miserable and unmotivated, and I walked...A LOT. My time was 47:30, which is nowhere even close to glorious. The slow girl was right behind me when I finished. However I just wanted to get out of the freezing winds. My ears have a low tolerance to cold, and they tend to complain a lot when uncovered.

Worse, I didn't get to sleep until 3AM, so right after this blog is done I'm going back to bed. I was watching the first episode of Six Feet Under, finishing the second to last chapter of The 'Question of God', which is a fabulous book, though it's shines a very flattering light towards C.S. Lewis, which is just fine with me, since I like him anyways.

I went to Goodwill earlier that afternoon to find my costume. Today I have a fraternity winter social, and the theme is 'White Trash'. I found a beautiful plaid shirt that I plan on ripping and lathering with barbeque sauce today.

That morning I also gave plasma for the fourth time in my college career. Strange I just discovered its benefits at the eve of graduation. I just desperately need money, because I'm taking a trip to Colorado in a week to go snowboarding. Amongst other things. Needles suck, I'm still not comfortable with the process. But $40 can be a lot of motivation. It only takes an hour, and I usually just read a book during the process. Once again I was reading 'The Question of God'.

What else did I do?
  • Watched Scrubs 3x12 'My Catalyst' guest starring Michael J. Fox. He's short.
  • Watched Grey's Anatomy 1x03 'Winning A Battle, Losing A War'. Organ havesting. I don't understand anyone that's selfish enough that they would want to keep organs that could give someone else life. When I die, everything goes to medical donation. However I opted not to donate my body to science. I'm a lifegiver, not a science experiment...
  • Danced in WalMart listening to the Saosin album I bought earlier this semester, but have neglected giving a serious listen. It's most excellent. But I twisted my ankle mid-dance. :-( I was there buying food with friends wanting to cook a dinner from scratch. While they cooked, I played my friend's Soul Caliber II, which I haven't played since high school. I still pwned everyone.
Alright, back to bed.

Sounds to me as if you have an interesting day... Oh, to cut loose in the middle of Walmart to dance with abandon... Someday I shall aspire to do just that... Cut loose that is... Probably not in the middle of Walmart though.
